Loss and Damage deep dive

This workshop will assess how we might address the needs of the most vulnerable and meet the mandate of the WIM to enhance finance for loss and damage. It will examine existing assessment of needs, potential sources of finance, and consider how to channel finance taking into account the existing climate finance architecture. The workshop will identify gaps and ways forward.

Expected participants: WIM ExCom members, country delegates, civil society and academics.

This workshop is being run by CAN, the Women and Gender Constituency and the Youth Constituency, with support from Practical Action, Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, Heinrich Böll Stiftung US, CARE, ActionAid, and ICCCAD. It will take place in the context of the Bonn Climate Change Conference- June 2019.
